In Revelation 22:16 Jesus called himself the morning star, in Matthew 24:27 he will be seen from the east to the west, and finally all the tribes of the earth will see the son of man on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

● Matthew 24:27 » For as the lightning cometh forth from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the coming of the Son of man.
● Matthew 24:30 » and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
● Matthew 24:31 » And he shall send forth his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
In Matthew 24:37 it says that, just as it happened in the deluge, there will also be an approximation of the planet Venus to Earth. In Genesis 7:11 it reports that all the fountains of the great deep were broken and the windows of heaven were opened. The earth will be destroyed, not with water as happened in the deluge, but with fire and brimstone as with Sodom and Gomorrah (Luke 17:29). The lake of fire and brimstone burns on Venus.

The Sun will become black and the Moon will become as blood, as mentioned in Revelation 6:12. It is the great tribulation spoken of in Matthew 24:21, which will take place before the great and dreadful day of the Lord, as mentioned in Joel 2:31.
● Revelation 6:12 » And I saw when he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the whole moon became as blood;
● Matthew 24:21 » for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be.
● Joel 2:31 » The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of Jehovah cometh.
You can see in the image below, the sun dark like a sackcloth and the blood color moon as it appears in Revelation 6:12 and Joel 2:31.
It will not be the moon that will cover the sun, as occurs in the solar eclipse. What will cover the sun will be the planet Venus. The Planet Venus shines like a sackcloth.
The gravitational force of Venus will destabilize the Earth, and cause strong earthquakes, but the collision of the planets will only happen at the seventh trumpet, when the four angels of Revelation 9:14 are released. Venus, the ancient Eden, is the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.
● Revelation 9:14 » one saying to the sixth angel that had one trumpet, Loose the four angels that are bound at the great river Euphrates.
● Revelation 9:15 » And the four angels were loosed, that had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, that they should kill the third part of men.
That's going to happen because planet Venus and planet Earth are about the same size, they're twin planets, so they tend to occupy the same orbit around the Sun. Today that doesn't happen because Venus has a retrograde rotation and keeps it away of planet Earth. Venus takes eight months for a one-day and one-night cycle.
With the approach of the planet Venus, there will be a shift in the Earth's axis and what is North will be South, and will remove the mountains and islands from their places, as can be understood from Revelation 6:14 which says,
● Revelation 6:14 » And the heaven was removed as a scroll when it is rolled up; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
A new heaven and a new earth
Planet Earth was the first in the creation sequence, Eden was the second (in the deluge the lives and waters of Eden were transferred to Earth). It is understood that, as quoted by the Lord Jesus in Matthew 25:34, men will occupy a new heaven and a new earth that are prepared from the foundation of the world.
● Matthew 25:34 » Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
● Revelation 21:1 » And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.
